Effective Arctic climate change mitigation and adaptation strategies require consideration of biogeochemical and ecological impacts of sea-ice decline.

The policy brief summarizes three recent papers on climate change and Arctic sea-ice biogeochemistry, sea-ice ecosystems and ecosystem services (Arctic and Antarctic), and sea-ice geoengineering impacts on sea-ice biogeochemistry.
