Congratulations to HASSEG member Gabriela Roldan, from the University of Canterbury, for winning the Best Visual Science Communication poster prize at the NZARI Antarctic Science Conference (2015).
Gabriela presented work from her PhD project, relating to Antarctic identities in the South American Gateway Cities. It is great to see a social sciences project in the spotlight at an Antarctic Science conference, and we wish Gabriela all the best as she continues to research Antarctic identities in all five Gateway cities.
