Dear PEAR members and Antarctic friends,
We hope you’ve all had a good start to the year. This is a quick email to invite you to our upcoming February PEAR forum. We would also like to invite you to contribute to our short online survey about interdisciplinarity to help inform discussion at the forum.
Topic: Interdisciplinary approaches to engagement: who, how, and why?
Where: On zoom, at https://utas.zoom.us/j/85611269716?from=addon
When: 26th February, 11am-12pm UTC
What’s the plan? This will be a very informal chat about how we can best collaborate across disciplines to support Antarctic public engagement. To support discussion, we ask that you fill in this short survey on your experiences and observations in relation to interdisciplinary work as it relates to public engagement before the 25th February.
Who is this for? Anyone with an interest in Antarctic public engagement, including researchers, practitioners, and communications professionals.
Not able to make the forum, but still keen to contribute to discussion? We’d love to hear your thoughts, so please do fill out the survey as well.
More details on the overall aim of the PEAR forums are below, and please feel free to get in touch with any questions or ideas.
Hope to see you in a couple of weeks!
Katie Marx and Elizabeth (Elle) Leane, PEAR co-leads
