Mengzhu is a PhD candidate at the University of Tasmania studying China’s engagement within the Antarctic Treaty System, from a science perspective. With a background in physical oceanography, Mengzhu aims to apply qualitative and quantitative methods to explore how China has fulfilled its commitment to the Antarctic Treaty System.
