From 23rd June to 3rd July, Italy hosted the 47th Antarctic Treaty Consultative Meeting (ATCM) and 27th meeting of the Committee for Environmental Protection (CEP) in Milan.
SCAR Attends ATCM/CEP Meetings in Milan
SCAR is an Observer at the ATCM and CEP meetings and plays an important role in providing scientific advice to inform discussions. The SCAR lecture at this latest meeting was given by Prof Gary Wilson, the SCAR President, on urgent scientific messages from Antarctica and the Southern Ocean.
