17 newsletter of the History of Polar Research Specialist Group of the German Society of Polar Research are now available online at https://polarforschung.de/#Rundbriefe
At the beginning newsletters were published in German, but since 1997 each issue is bi-lingual in German and English.
Each newsletter has a special focus and collects information connected with German polar research to facilitate a start on a project within the broad and interdisciplinary field of polar research. The newsletter was started at a time, when the internet was not jet present. Today things have changed with internet, however I wanted to share this already “historical” collection of information before it would be lost.
