Thanks to SCAR and SCOSTEP/PRESTO funding, the new Scientific Research Programme Planning Group AGATA, recently approved by SCAR, is pleased to open a call for applications for scholarships to attend the next IUGG General Assembly.
The scholarships cover actual expenses up to €800-€1000, depending on the status of the candidate (students vs researchers). The scholarship will support the attendance of (Master or PhD) students or Early-Career Researchers (up to 5 years from the PhD) at the IUGG General Assembly being held in Berlin, 11-20 July 2023.
To apply, candidates are invited to send a motivation letter on what is their interest to AGATA and the abstract they submitted to the IUGG GA by 1 April 2023 – email to Lucilla Alfonsi with Wojciech Miloch and Nicolas Bergeot in cc. Please include an estimation of your budget to travel to Berlin (for registration, hotel, and plane).
Finally, the winning applicants will have to make a 5-minute presentation during the kick-off meeting of AGATA (to be held on 12 July as a side meeting during the conference) to explain their research and their interest in AGATA.
