We are pleased to announce the International Conference “Interdisciplinary Polar Studies in Poland” to honour the 60th Anniversary of the Polish Polar Station in Hornsund, Svalbard, Arctic, and the 40th Anniversary of the Arctowski Polish Antarctic Station, South Shetland Islands. The conference will be held in Warsaw, Poland at the Staszic Palace (Polish Academy of Sciences) from 17 – 19 November 2017. Registration has now opened and contributions are invited on any aspects of research of both the Arctic and Antarctic polar regions focusing on empirical, theoretical, and methodological topics, for a better understanding of the polar environment. Syntheses, reviews and case studies on the litho-, atmo-, hydro-, cryo-, and biosystem and their interactions are mostly welcome.
