Due to demand, the deadline for abstract submission to the SCAR Biology Symposium has been extended to 28 March 2023.
See the full range of research topics and submit your abstract on the scarbiology2023 website.
The organising committee are also announcing support for students and early-career researchers, aiming to attract >100 ECRs from around the world and help ensure that they can attend SCAR Biology 2023. To achieve this goal, they are sourcing and securing funding opportunities from far and wide. Information on these funding opportunities is on the ECR Support page, which will be updated regularly as more opportunities become available. Details are also included in the latest announcement.
The XIII SCAR Biology Symposium will take place from 31 July to 4 August 2023 in Christchurch, New Zealand and offers four days of invited keynotes, plenaries, and concurrent sessions, with a mid-week break of excursions to allow attendees to enjoy some spectacular parts of New Zealand’s South Island.
Satellite meetings and workshops will be held during the weekends before and after the meeting. The conference will be enriched by the tikanga (traditions) and mātauranga (knowledge) of New Zealand’s indigenous Māori people and a true dedication to sustainability.
