The 6th Workshop of the SCAR AAA 2021 takes place September 8-10, 2021 from 11am to 3pm GMT.
This year, we have chosen to have the workshop exclusively on zoom and open to all registered attendees at no cost. A shorter presentation format will be used to accommodate all participant to present their work. Science results, project updates or future plans from both Northern and Southern polar regions are welcome.
Astronomy & Astrophysics from Antarctica (AAA) is a Scientific Research Program of SCAR, the Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research. The objectives of AAA are to coordinate all astronomical activities in Antarctica ensuring the best possible outcomes from international investment in Antarctic astronomy, and to maximize the opportunities for productive interaction with other disciplines. This meeting aims to bring together all the key players in Antarctic astronomy to conclude the 2015 – 2018 Implementation Plan and to coordinate future strategies and collaborations. This is the sixth meeting in the series, following the AAA2011 in Sydney, Australia, the AAA2013 at the Certosa di Pontignano, Italy, the AAA2015 in Hawaii, USA, the AAA2017 in Chiang Mai, Thailand and AAA2019 in the Aosta valley, Italy.
