Natalia is a Historian from the National University of Colombia (2011), Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) and aircraft pilot, and is finishing a Master´s degree in Geography at the Universidad de Los Andes (Colombia). She has been part of four of the five expeditions from Colombia to Antarctica where she has carried out cartographic surveys with UAVs to monitor the effects of tourism in the Antarctic Peninsula. She has also experience in formulation and development of projects in Antarctica where history and geography are integrated in order to analyze phenomena related to human intervention in the continent. Natalia is currently working on a project that combines UAVs, ICTs and Geographic Information Systems in order to produce narratives about human presence in Antarctica.
