Kemal Yildirim is Professor in Comparative Politics at the European School of Law and Governance in Kosovo (ESLG) and a Senior Research Fellow in the Division of History and Civilization at EMUI EuroMed University. He earned a dual PhD in comparative politics at Central University of Nicaragua and Azteca in Mexico in 2013, and has completed postdoctoral research in law, democracy and human rights at the Institute of Human Rights at Coimbra University, Portugal, in 2018, followed by a second postdoc on immigration issues in Latin America at the University of Buenos Aires in Argentina.
He is an author of 204 books that have been translated into more than 8 languages, and has published over fifty articles in peer-reviewed journals. Dr Yildirim has contributed to the research environment as a reviewer for scholarly journals (see the AASCIT website) and associate editor for the World Research Journal of Political Science.

He is also a film producer and director, with more than twenty feature films and documentaries under his belt. Dr Yildirim speaks 10 languages and is the president of the Beyt Nahrin Mesopotamian Academy of Sciences and Arts.
