James Moser

James Moser has taught as an adjunct lecturer and an assistant professor, during which time he authored two books and gave multiple presentations in the US and abroad. James has also served as an officer in the US military for which he received the Commander’s Award for Public Service and the Korean Defense Service Medal among other awards. In 2016, shortly after relocating to New Zealand, he was made a Postgraduate Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, and in 2017 was selected as keynote speaker of the New Zealand Antarctic Society’s Mid-Winter Dinner in Auckland. James currently resides in his native southwest Virginia working as a Fellow at the Taubman Museum of Art.
