Dr Zach Carter is a research fellow in the Securing Antarctica’s Environmental Future (SAEF) research programme. He completed his PhD in 2022 at the University of Auckland and is broadly interested in empowering conservation practitioners by giving them tools to make informed, effective management decisions. Within the Antarctic space, his research is currently centred on uncovering latent processes that may jeopardise the future of Antarctic conservation.
