Emilie Pillon is a doctoral student in anthropology. She also has a background in Architecture. Currently, her work focuses on the scientific and technical communities working on and in Antarctica. Through the deployment of scientific programs, she’s examining the role of times, gestures and knowledges – inherited, learned, passed on – and the way its shapes the narrative of a fascinating territory – laboratory.
