A recent career feature in the journal Nature highlights the effect that the COVID-19 pandemic has had on Polar researchers.
Six scientists, three working in the Arctic and three in the Antarctic, explain how the pandemic has affected their fieldwork and research, and highlight how especially hard it has been for early-career researchers. One of the scientists featured is Daniela Liggett, co-Chief Officer of SCAR’s Standing Committee on the Humanities and Social Sciences.
