Pablo Tejedo

Pablo Tejedo is a lab technician in the Departamento de Ecología at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Spain. He received his Bachelor of Environmental Sciences and Ph.D. in Science from this university. In 1999, he began his research activity participating in applied studies and technical reports related to the management of public use in protected areas, recreation ecology, the control of landscape impacts, and the evaluation of teaching materials related to environmental education. After eight years as Associate Professor at the SEK University of Segovia, currently IE University, in 2012 he began his current work as a specialist laboratory technician. During this time, he has combined his teaching and work activity with research on human impact in Antarctica, where he has made several stays at Spanish scientific bases. Pablo’s research interests include Antarctic environmental monitoring and human impact on its terrestrial ecosystems. He is part of the research group on Biology and Ecology in Polar Environments (ECOPOLAR). His research interests in Antarctica focus on the monitoring of human impact on terrestrial environments, tourism management, and the control of alien species.
