RINGS Meeting on Ice-Sheet Bed Measurements in conjunction with the Royal Society, 6-9 May 2025


Thursday 8 May 2025, University of Edinburgh, UK: Strategies to Collect Next Generations of Bed Topography Data in Antarctica  

Jointly organized by the SCAR Action Group Antarctic RINGS, the Organizing Committee of the Royal Society Meeting “Next Generation Ice-Sheet Bed Measurements”, and the School of GeoSciences, University of Edinburgh.

This meeting aims to build on discussions arising in the Royal Society Meeting (6–7 May) and form a series of necessary objectives to take forward. Participation is open, but we strongly encourage attendees to join the Royal Society Meeting as well to ensure continuity in discussions.

Friday 9 May 2025, University of Edinburgh, UK: RINGS initiatives on the Antarctic Peninsula and Weddell Sea 

We aim to finish this Friday meeting by 2pm, but please consider staying into the evening to ensure the whitepapers that will be discussed in the meeting are well established.
