BEPSII Annual Meeting 2025

The BEPSII Annual Meeting 2025 will be held 14–16 March 2025 as a hybrid event at the Renaissance Tuscany Il Ciocco Resort & Spa (Castelvecchio Pascoli, Italy) and online via Zoom—right after the GRC on Polar Marine Science.

• Meeting Dates: 14 March (starting at lunch) – 16 March (ending after lunch) 2025
• Location: Renaissance Tuscany Il Ciocco Resort & Spa (onsite) & Zoom (online)
• Costs:
• Single room package (meals + room): €514 per person
• Shared room package (meals + room): €384 per person (max. 2 people per room)
• Transportation: If you need a ride on 16 March after lunch to the closest train station (Barga-Gallicano) or Florence Airport, please indicate this in the registration form.

Funding Information

We have funding from SOLAS, CliC, and SCAR to reimburse the meeting costs above for:

• Early Career Researchers (ECRs): full or partial reimbursement
• Non-ECRs: partial reimbursement

The exact amount of support will depend on the number of funding applications, and decisions will be communicated on 11 February 2025.

If you would like to share a room but haven’t identified a roommate yet, please add your name to this Excel sheet:

Add your name as soon as possible, and check back before the registration deadline to find a roommate. Once you’ve agreed on sharing, please complete both the BEPSII registration by 9 February and the hotel reservation by 14 February.
