Using futures-scanning and scenario-building, this WP studies how the pandemic is shaping global order and geopolitics. A specific focus is on emerging risks and opportunities in relation to collective Antarctic governance.

- With a focus on international relations and governance, how is the COVID-19 pandemic shaping global order and geopolitics?
- What risks and opportunities emerge in a post-COVID-19 global order in relation to collective Antarctic governance?
- What are the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and related global developments on Antarctic governance decision-making mechanisms?
