I am a biologist interested in the ecology, limnology, and taxonomy of diatoms (and other protists). My research focuses mainly on the use of diatom communities as indicators of environmental changes (natural and anthropogenic) in Antarctic wetlands and Tierra del Fuego peat bogs.
