I am a macroecology researcher and biogeographer with an interest in global-change effects in polar areas, and in particular the associated terrestrial biodiversity range shifts. I have been involved in conservation policy-making in polar area protection, management of human impacts, biosecurity risk assessments and ecosystem carrying capacities.

Current research projects / interests:

  • Biodiversity redistribution patterns and processes;
  • Ecological niche modelling;
  • Phylobiogeography;
  • Functional diversity and Community Traits;
  • Ecosystem services mapping.
