FRISP is an annual meeting to share research related to ice shelves, and their interactions with the ice sheet, ocean, and atmosphere. It is a SCAR Expert Group and has organised regular meetings in Europe since 1984. FRISP is an appropriate meeting to present work in progress and discuss emerging research ideas, and is well-suited to early career researchers as well as senior scientists.
The 2022 FRISP meeting will be held at Slayley Hall Hotel, Northumberland, UK on 19-22 September. Monday 19th will be set aside for travel and arrival, with the first sessions on the morning of Tuesday 20th. The meeting will finish with lunch on Thursday 22nd. Please note that this will be an in-person only event.
Accommodation on site will be limited, so we recommend prompt registration.
Full details, including abstract submission and registration, are on the FRISP meeting website.
Please get in touch with us at info@scar.org if you'd like to advertise an event.
