The 36th International Geological Congress (IGC) will be held 2-8 March 2020 in New Delhi, India. More details on the congress and its scientific programme are available on the Congress website.

The Science Programme of the 36th IGC comprises 44 Themes  Two themes are specific to the cryosphere (themes 8 and 9), and sessions in other themes are relevant.:

• Theme 8: The Polar World – Past, Present and Future
• Theme 9: Glacial Mass Balance: Approaches and Problems
• Session 12.4: Glaciers - Past & Present; under Theme 12, Quaternary Environments: Sedimentation and Landform Evolution

Abstract submission is open until 31 August 2019.

Registration is open.  Early-Bird registration ends on 30 November 2019, with a Super Early-Bird rate available until 31 July 2019.
