Antarctic change is now fully underway, bringing higher sea levels, more climate extremes, and declining ability to help keep the global climate suitable for us. A comprehensive report by SCAR, released at the 44th Antarctic Treaty Consultative Meeting, emphasises the need for urgent action.

Professor Steven Chown, lead author of the report and immediate  past-President of SCAR, recently published an article on LENS and highlights the key messages of the report.
