Objectives:
- To study interglacial to Holocene sea-level changes in the Indian Ocean
- To investigate different landform changes concerning past sea-level changes
- To apply knowledge on paleo sea-level changes to the synthesis of modern nearshore sediment dynamics in Sri Lanka and elsewhere
